About The Position

The machine operators will assist in the production process of a safe and high quality egg ingredient for further manufacturing by efficiently operating various equipment as well as preforming sanitation duties. Production's main responsibilities will include inspecting products and equipment for defects to ensure quality standards are met, moving finished product to warehousing area using appropriate equipment, visually ensuring the all components of the machines are operating correctly and efficiently, disassembling and cleaning the equipment used in the production process, performing all duties required to ensure U.S.D.A. inspection and quality guidelines are met (including record keeping requirements involving hand held tablets), reassembling necessary processing equipment after sanitation, and performing all other duties as required (and as assigned) by the supervisor to fill the needs of the plant.

Requirements

• Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively with team members and management
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to work independently and carry out assignments as assigned by Supervisors or Management
• Ability to work in a safe manner, as well as participate in the safety process of the company
• Ability to safely handle chemical solutions, eggs and egg products.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with team members and management

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred
