Responsibilities

• Handle materials and use hand tools, knives, machinery, and equipment for food production.
• Perform physically demanding work requiring good hand-eye coordination and strength.
• Follow oral and written instructions accurately.
• Work scheduled hours, including potential mandatory overtime based on production demands.
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards while working in various temperature environments.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Capability to perform continuous/repetitive movements, including grasping and flexing arms.
• Ability to stand for up to 12 hours on concrete or platforms.
• Willingness to work around animal blood and carcass parts.
• Ability to work in cold (20-40 degrees) and warm (over 100 degrees) environments.
• Experience working with knives (if trained).
• Ability to work in wet and humid conditions.
• Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including hard hats and steel-toed shoes.
• Ability to climb, bend, stoop, and twist repetitively throughout the shift.
• Ability to walk long distances and lift heavy objects up to 60 lbs.
