About The Position

Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital, a Joint Commission-accredited psychiatric hospital located in Panama City, Florida, is seeking a BE/BC General Outpatient Psychiatrist. The hospital provides mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, active-duty service members and their families, and veterans. This is an employed W-2 position focusing on outpatient care for patients aged 12 and older. The role involves evaluations, assessments, medication management, treatment team management, daily patient care, and related administrative duties. The position is primarily stationed at the Panama City Outpatient location, with potential for telehealth services to surrounding outpatient locations such as Marianna, Okaloosa, and Pensacola. The average daily caseload is 10 patients, and there is no call requirement.

Requirements

• BE/BC in General Psychiatry required. BC strongly preferred.
• Active or eligible for FL medical license
• Must be willing to see ages 12 and older
