About the position

As a General Manager at MyEyeDr., you will lead a collaborative team to provide exceptional eyecare experiences for patients. This role encompasses all aspects of office success, including patient experiences, financial performance, team development, and operational management. You will work closely with community doctors and vendors to ensure a seamless patient journey while acting as a brand ambassador for MyEyeDr.

Responsibilities

• Build and foster a purpose-driven team through recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training.
• Manage the financial success of the office by driving KPI performance.
• Collaborate with doctors and support teams to enhance patient experiences.
• Deliver key performance indicators and provide coaching to team members.
• Maximize partnerships with Optometrists to ensure availability and coverage.
• Maintain HR policies and compliance for a safe work environment.
• Lead performance and development initiatives in partnership with the District Manager.
• Ensure optical merchandise meets patient standards and requests.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or relevant management experience, preferably in Retail or Hospitality.
• 2+ years in a leadership role with decision-making responsibilities.
• Experience leading teams to achieve sales and operational goals.
• Proven ability to drive business and sales operations in a customer-facing environment.
• Effective communication skills and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership qualities with a focus on service standards and mentorship.
• Servant leadership style with a strong drive for results and business acumen.
• Willingness to learn about the optical industry and services.
• Natural leadership ability to coach and inspire team members.
• Team player with a collaborative approach to patient care.
