About the position

The Restaurant General Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall efficiency and technical operations of the store, ensuring that Freddy's standards of quality, timeliness, and service are met. This role involves managing labor and food costs, building relationships with guests, addressing guest issues, and exemplifying hospitality. The General Manager also plays a key role in training staff, motivating employees, and coordinating scheduling and product ordering based on sales volume.

Responsibilities

• Control labor and food costs while ensuring quality and service standards are met.
• Build and maintain relationships with guests and handle guest issues effectively.
• Train staff and motivate team members to enhance performance and service quality.
• Coordinate staff scheduling and product ordering in line with sales volume.
• Conduct daily labor analysis to achieve target labor percentage and monitor sales trends.
• Ensure compliance with health department regulations and address any critical violations promptly.
• Review and approve all staff schedules and forecasts, ensuring timely opening and closing of the restaurant.
• Complete operational checklists daily and ensure all cash handling procedures are followed.

Requirements

• Proven leadership and communication skills to ensure adherence to company standards.
• Experience in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
• Ability to maintain a professional image and foster a positive work environment.
• Strong financial acumen to analyze labor and sales data effectively.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the restaurant industry.
