About the position

The General Manager at Hyatt Centric South Beach Miami is responsible for leading a team of hospitality professionals to achieve outstanding financial results and enhance guest satisfaction. This role involves hiring, mentoring, and motivating a management team while ensuring adherence to the company's mission and operational guidelines. The General Manager will also act as a liaison with the hotel brand, owners, and city officials, facilitating successful business operations and brand training.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the hotel operations to ensure outstanding guest satisfaction and financial performance.
  • Hire, mentor, and develop a winning management team.
  • Act as the primary liaison with the hotel brand and owners to ensure compliance with operational standards.
  • Network with city officials and represent the hotel in the community.
  • Oversee budget management and ensure adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Drive guest satisfaction scores and implement strategies to improve service quality.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in select service hotel operations.
  • Proven track record in a General Manager role or similar leadership position.
  • Strong sales background with established networking skills.
  • Ability to drive guest satisfaction scores (GSS).
  • Effective leadership and team-building skills.
