About the position

The General Manager at Bamboo Sushi is responsible for overseeing all restaurant and bar operations, ensuring operational excellence in food service and guest experience, and fostering a culture of positivity and accountability. This role involves managing a high-volume, full-service restaurant while driving profitability and maintaining a professional image.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a culture of positivity and accountability within the restaurant.
• Execute operational excellence in food service and guest experience.
• Drive, lead, and oversee all restaurant and bar operations to positively impact P&L.
• Build and maintain a professional restaurant image for the location and business.
• Hire, train, and develop employees.
• Monitor critical quality control points for menu items through expo and timely delivery of food.

Requirements

• Two or more years of management experience in a high volume, full service restaurant.
• Two or more years of experience in food and beverage, preferably in an upscale concept.
• Passion for guest service and culinary knowledge.
• Valid Food Handlers Card and Beverage Service Permit.
• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information discreetly and professionally.
