About the position
The General Manager will oversee multiple locations of an established restoration company, focusing on enhancing operational efficiencies and ensuring exceptional customer service. This role involves managing production teams, sales teams, and office personnel while adhering to company budgets and compliance regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the restoration industry, particularly in fire and water damage restoration, and will play a key role in the company's growth and development.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with division managers to create an annual business plan
- Oversee the management of the Marketing, Production, Construction Services, and Office Divisions
- Ensure an exceptional customer experience
- Assist with planning for and meeting staffing needs
- Assist with recruiting, hiring, training, and retaining employees
- Coach and mentor employees
- Adhere to annual company budget
- Ensure the company complies with federal, state, and local regulations
- Ensure adequate insurance coverages
Requirements
- 3+ years management experience in a trade or restoration industry
- Proficient computer skills and intermediate math skills
- Excellent leadership skills
- Effective written and oral communication
- Knowledgeable at job costing and quality control
