About the position

The General Maintenance Technician at Lane Valente Industries is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and construction tasks across the United States. This role requires proficiency in carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical work, with a focus on commercial construction projects. The technician will work closely with clients to ensure high-quality service and adherence to safety standards, while also being willing to travel and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry tasks including partition framing, installation of cabinetry, and door/window installation.
• Conduct painting and flooring installation, including VCT, LVT, tile, and carpet squares.
• Handle plumbing tasks such as the replacement and installation of sinks, faucets, and toilets.
• Execute electrical work including the installation of light fixtures and basic data connections.
• Provide HVAC services including refrigeration and preventive maintenance service calls.
• Install and maintain automatic doors and related hardware using power and hand tools.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs, including measurements, pictures, and recommendations for future work.
• Communicate effectively with customers to build relationships and ensure satisfaction.
• Follow OSHA requirements and maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction or commercial maintenance.
• Proficiency in carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical work.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
• Ability to follow OSHA safety requirements.

Nice-to-haves

• Licensed plumber or electrician is encouraged to apply.
• Experience with commercial renovations and buildouts.
