About the position
Trident Civil is now hiring full time positions for General Laborers for our Water/Sewer line crews. Job locations are in the Hampton Roads area. The duties of the laborers include but are not limited to the following items and physical requirements. Job Specific duties will include: Perform tasks to abide by safety and security regulations. Assist in preparing the work site at the start of each work shift. Handle and stage materials as needed. Perform duties as directed by site Forman or Superintendent. Work well in a team environment. Assist installing storm drain, water, and sewer mains with service connections. Assist in daily clean up and returning tools and equipment at the end of each work shift. Able to lift 50+ pounds and capability to push, pull, or carry heavy objects. Be continually attentive and mindful of your surroundings to keep yourself and co-workers safe. Wear protective equipment/gear as necessary (glove, eyewear, hard-hat, steel-toes, etc.)

Requirements
- Valid driver's license (preferred)
- 1 year of experience in a construction site (Required)
