About the position
Tindall Corporation is a leading Precast Concrete Manufacturer, with locations throughout the Southeastern U.S. Our mission is to support our customers, create remarkable structures, and deliver never-before-seen solutions every step of the way. The position involves cutting strand and assisting with the process of pouring concrete in bed as necessary for the production of a concrete member. Employees are also responsible for housekeeping and other plant tasks.
Responsibilities
- Cuts strand and assists with the process of pouring concrete in bed as necessary for the production of a concrete member.
- Receives instructions, rolls torches, steel and tool buggies to bed and unloads.
- Lays out rebar, plates, loops, channel and insulations, etc.
- Pulls strand, threading bulkheads, block outs, frames and dead man, and cuts strand with grinder and places chucks on ends.
- Places and ties rebar, loops, stem and flange wire, chair flange wire, and places form and side plates.
- Prepares for pours.
- Cleans up around beds after members are stripped and disposes of trash, scrap wood, etc.
- Performs miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
