About The Position

This is a physically active, hands-on manufacturing role focused primarily on sandblasting large structural steel components and preparing surfaces for painting and finishing. You'll spend most of your day working around heavy industrial equipment, preparing materials, maintaining quality standards, and supporting production operations. This is not a desk job. It's real manufacturing work that requires reliability, attention to detail, and a willingness to work in a physically demanding environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship
Ability to verify identity and employment authorization (Form I-9)
Eligibility to access information or technology governed by U.S. export control laws, where applicable
Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with applicable laws
Willingness to undergo a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens during employment
Ability to meet the posted work schedule and work required hours
Ability to maintain reliable attendance and punctuality
Willingness to follow all company safety policies and procedures
Willingness to wear required PPE (respirators, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe footwear, etc)
Willingness to complete required safety and compliance training
Ability to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to maintain professional conduct aligned with company values

Nice To Haves

Sandblasting, industrial painting prep, or surface preparation experience preferred
Manufacturing, fabrication, construction, or industrial labor experience a plus
Entry-level candidates with strong work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

Perform sandblasting on structural steel and industrial components
Prepare surfaces for painting through grinding, cleaning, masking, and finishing
Verify surfaces meet cleanliness and quality standards before coating
Set up, operate, and maintain blasting equipment
Follow all safety, environmental, and PPE requirements
Assist with general labor activities throughout manufacturing operations
Support housekeeping and shop organization efforts
Assist with stocking materials and maintaining work areas
Support production teams as business needs require
Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and material handling equipment after training
Assist with moving materials and components throughout the facility
Support basic maintenance and production activities
