About The Position

Millwood is accepting applications for the general labor position. The job responsibilities include assisting with hands-on physical labor and the operation of machinery with the goal of streamlining company production and the upkeep of customer satisfaction. Requirements

Ability to pass a drug test
Must be 18 years of age
Physically able to lift 50lbs as needed
Physically ability to stand, bend/stoop, kneel, lift, reach and other physical tasks during an 8-10-hour shift.
Must maintain safe and tidy workspace
Ability to understand and complete job tasks accurately
Ability to read and interpret imperial system.
Successful completion of pneumatic nailer training.
High school diploma or GED Equivalent
Good oral and written communication skills
Basic math skills

Responsibilities

Observe all safety guidelines and protocol.
Inspect and repair pallets for defects including, but not limited to, broken boards and blocks, missing components, nail defects, debris, and contamination. Correct defects that do not meet specification criteria.
Lift and carry materials as needed.
Ensure materials and products are properly stored to conserve space and comply with safety procedures.
Assist in waste disposal and recycling activities.
Sort and stack pallets and materials by size and grade utilizing APC methods.
Complete and turn in all required documentation in a timely manner.
Assure compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures with applicable federal, State and local codes, OSHA regulations and requirements.
Clean and maintain all responsible work areas in an organized manner.
Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
