About The Position

One full-time Permanent General Accountant position available, starting on July 06, 2026, working 37.5 hours per week.

Requirements

  • A degree or diploma in bookkeeping or equivalent with three years’ related experience.
  • Experience and competence in using computer hardware and software (e.g. Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Dynamics GP).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff, residents and funders; to take direction; use initiative; be a self-starter and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares balance sheet account reconciliations on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Process journal entries to the General Ledger including adjusting, reconciling, and recurring entries.
  • Updates and processes monthly fees and submit preauthorized payments (PAP) to the bank on the 1st and 15th working day of each month.
  • Maintains monthly rent roll report; calculates processing annual rent changes including issuing letters.
  • Tracks unit deposits for Luther Village on the Park; calculates and issues interest on last month’s rent.
  • Works in alignment with the Agency’s commitment to equity to further create a sense of belonging at the Agency.
