About the position

Under the direction of the Manager and Facilities Director, the position responds to all General Maintenance service calls. The role requires a proactive approach to maintenance tasks and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Responds to maintenance service calls in a timely manner.
  • Fills out maintenance request forms when task is complete and turns them in to the R.A.C.E. Crew Chief.
  • General repairs to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and all other public areas work requests.
  • Possesses a high level of attention to detail as it pertains to Front of House areas.
  • Knowledge of maintenance as it relates to furniture, painting, wall covering, lighting, plumbing, and flooring.
  • Maintains technical logs and records all relevant data as appropriate.
  • Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
  • Performs all other related and compatible/non-compatible duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or technical certificate as well as a minimum of three (3) years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Must possess or can obtain a valid New Jersey Casino Service Registration.
