About the position
The Gastroenterology Advanced Practice Provider (APP) position is a full-time role focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in the field of digestive health. The APP will be responsible for diagnosing and managing a variety of gastrointestinal conditions, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. This role emphasizes a commitment to patient care excellence and aims to enhance patient outcomes in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care focused on digestive health.
- Diagnose and manage a range of gastrointestinal conditions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
- Perform GI procedures and diagnostics as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) program.
- Current, unrestricted NP or PA license in the state of Connecticut or eligibility to obtain.
- Previous experience in Gastroenterology or Internal Medicine preferred.
- Strong clinical skills in GI procedures and diagnostics.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in Internal Medicine
- Relevant clinical rotations in GI for new graduates.
