About the position

The Gas Test Production Technician role at Aerotek involves performing routine maintenance and calibration on analytical equipment, preparing medical and specialty gas mixtures, and ensuring product purity. This position is essential for maintaining quality control and compliance with regulations in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and calibration on analytical equipment.
• Calculate, prepare, and fill medical and specialty gas mixtures using partial pressure and gravimetric techniques.
• Analyze products for purity conformance to specifications.
• Process cylinders for shipment, including painting, labeling, and preparing certificates of analysis.
• Maintain all quality control records and other required documentation to comply with guidelines and regulations.
• Test and certify incoming raw materials for production.
• Handle and load cylinders as required.
• Participate in all required safety activities and maintain a safe work environment.
• Perform other projects and duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 2 years of analytical experience in a laboratory setting.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Experience working in a quality assurance laboratory capacity.
• Familiarity with analytical gas techniques.
• Good math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
