About the position
VocoVision is seeking a dedicated and experienced Remote School Psychologist to provide mental health support, conduct assessments, and offer interventions designed to enhance students' emotional and psychological well-being. This fully remote position allows professionals to work from home while making a meaningful impact on students' lives through teletherapy services.
Responsibilities
- Provide mental health support to students through virtual therapy sessions.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' psychological and emotional needs.
- Offer interventions aimed at enhancing students' emotional and psychological well-being.
- Build rapport with students, families, and school staff to foster a supportive environment.
- Manage a caseload effectively in a remote setting.
Requirements
- Minimum 1+ years of experience as a school psychologist.
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Valid state licensure as a School Psychologist or eligibility to obtain licensure in the state of employment.
- Previous experience in a school setting, preferably as a School Psychologist.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with students, families, and school staff.
- Proficiency in using virtual platforms and technology for therapy and assessments.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently.
