About the position

The Full-Time Sales Associate/Key Holder at ELSE in Santa Monica is responsible for creating an outstanding customer experience in a fast-paced retail environment. This role focuses on driving sales, delivering exceptional customer service, and building lasting relationships with clients. Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service to customers shopping in the retail space.
  • Assist customers with size requirements and suggest complementary styles.
  • Develop unique strategies to achieve sales results through clienteling and community involvement.
  • Build lasting one-on-one relationships with customers.
  • Ensure a consistent and quality store experience for all customers.
  • Solve customer issues with outstanding service and diplomatic skills.
  • Think strategically and take ownership to drive the business to company standards.
  • Motivate and support team members towards overall retail store and company growth.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with the Store Manager and management team.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge, shop standards, and upcoming promotions.
  • Implement the company visual presentation and merchandising standards with excellence.
  • Ensure tidiness and cleanliness of the retail space and common areas.
  • Assist the Store Manager with inventory management and store operations.
  • Help with online order fulfillment and customer support emails.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in retail or hospitality preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for motivating, leading, and influencing others.
  • Hands-on and sales-driven approach.
  • Strong interpersonal and sales skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers.
  • Strong work ethic and self-starter mentality.
  • Attention to detail and ability to check own work for errors.
  • Comfortable with Excel and Google Drive.
