About the position

Positive Regard Therapy (PRT) is a queer-owned boutique group therapy practice dedicated to helping adults cope with life's toughest transitions and challenges. Based in Chicago, we partner with our clients through our therapy services to help them navigate issues such as break-ups/divorce, anxiety/stress, grief & loss, depression, trauma, relational discord, non-monogamy, identity exploration, and more. PRT was founded in 2019 by Bert Fox, LCPC who wanted to provide a boutique therapy practice focused on working with LGBTQ+ clients to help them grow, change, and thrive. We currently have 7 clinicians and 3 interns on our Clinical Team, as well as a Billing & Insurance Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of the practice. As a practice, we maintain a warm and inviting culture that embodies learning, growth, support, and unconditional positive regard for everyone on the team. We are excited to expand our Clinical Team and are looking to hire a full-time Clinical Therapist. This position requires the therapist to work on Saturdays as part of their regular schedule. Full-time therapists will be scheduled for up to 30 hours of work per week, with the expectation that they see 25 clients per week. The remaining hours will be dedicated to consultation, team meetings, trainings, and other non-client activities. PRT has a hybrid work model, offering both in-person and telehealth sessions.
