About the position

The Closing Front of House Team Member at Chick-fil-A is responsible for providing excellent customer service by welcoming guests, taking and preparing orders, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. This role involves preparing the restaurant for closing and ensuring a positive experience for every guest. Team members are expected to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a friendly atmosphere while adhering to health and sanitation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests.
• Take and prepare customer orders at the front counter or drive-thru.
• Maintain cleanliness in the counter and dining room.
• Observe health and sanitation guidelines.
• Prepare the restaurant for closing and ensure readiness for the next day.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and provide exceptional service to guests.

Requirements

• Must be able to work until 11pm.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must have a source of reliable transportation.
• Ability to handle all equipment, pans, pots, and navigate shelving both high and low.
• Reading, writing, and basic math skills required.
• Verbal communication skills required.
• Must be at least 16 years of age upon hire date.
• Must be able to work 40+ hours per week.
• Must be available on Fridays and Saturdays.
• Must have availability during the school year.
