About the position
The Busser at Ole Red Gatlinburg plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of the restaurant environment. This position involves cleaning and resetting tables, ensuring a pleasant atmosphere for guests, and assisting with deliveries. The Busser is expected to work collaboratively with the team to uphold high standards of sanitation and service.
Responsibilities
- Continually bus tables throughout shift.
- Reset tables within three minutes of guest's departure.
- Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through work area throughout shift, keeping all floors free of food, trash, or other obstacles.
- Ensure that trash containers are clean, free of odor, and lined.
- Clean all spills immediately, using floor signs to caution guests and staff.
- Keep the booster seats and high chairs clean, alerting the Manager on Duty about any highchair safety issues.
- Perform Opening/Running/Closing/Weekly duties.
- Par all ice bins to the fullest levels at all times.
- Attend pre-shift meetings conducted by the Manager on Duty prior to the start of each shift.
- Work rotated food running shifts as scheduled.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Professional communication skills while interacting with guests and co-workers.
- Ability to maintain a high level of sanitation and safety is required at all times.
- Strong communication skills, demonstrated team player, self-starter.
