About the position

The Member Support Specialist position involves providing exceptional customer service to members and potential members through various communication channels. The role focuses on building strong relationships, assisting with account inquiries, and resolving issues while contributing to a positive team environment. This position is available in both full-time and part-time capacities, with opportunities for growth within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Assist members with account inquiries, account maintenance and problem resolution on the phone, by email, or in writing via other electronic methods as required
  • Answer a high volume of incoming calls
  • Troubleshoot calls regarding member accounts
  • Provide knowledge about account titles and designations and identify parties authorized to access account information and perform transactions
  • Cross sell products and services while educating members on products and services that meet their needs
  • Provide information and direct members to appropriate representatives
  • Achieve member service goals and support department service levels

Requirements

  • Customer service experience over the phone
  • Call center or high volume phone experience is a plus
  • Ability to meet metrics and upsell products and services
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and remain calm in a high stress environment
  • Ability to navigate throughout multiple programs on a computer at one time
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
