Responsibilities
- Looking for top tier engineers who have a strong and successful track record of solving hard problems and out-of-the-box thinking.
- Work in a dynamic environment and expect new joiners to be flexible, self-sufficient and learn our business, our data and our technology stack with minimal supervision.
- Lead the push for horizontally scalable high-performance applications.
- Demonstrate willingness and ability to learn and stronghold on data structures and their application in real world environments.
- Work on hybrid stack Scala/Java/Python based applications along with a mix of other technologies like JavaScript, React JS, Angular, graph/RDF and relational databases, SPARQL, AMPS, Kafka, IBM MQ.
- Capable of basic data analysis and requirements gathering.
- Experience in working with agile development environment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of engineering work experience.
- Java or similar programming experience.
- Minimum of 5 years JAVA with Multithreading, Kafka/AMPS messaging (or similar messaging tools).
- Good Knowledge on Database (Relational or Graph Database).
Nice-to-haves
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
- Experience with functional programming like Scala.
- Experience with graph technologies.
- Familiarity with semantic web (RDF) and SPARQL.
- Experience with distributed computing.
- Familiarity with AMPS, Kafka, Zookeeper/Storm/Spark/HDFS.
- Experience with large data processing and distribution in real time using AMPS, Kafka, MapReduce or similar framework.
- Experience with Selenium, Cucumber.
- Experience with enhancing and maintaining mission critical software in a fast-paced environment.
