About the position

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will assess students' skills to determine their needs in relation to their specific discipline and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student. They will plan, organize, and assign activities that are specific to each student's abilities and provide therapies related to their areas of need as determined by the IEP.

Responsibilities

  • Providing direct therapy to students according to students' IEP.
  • Conducting assessment analyzing results and writing reports to determine strengths and concerns.
  • Consulting with teaching teams to develop and implement curriculum modifications and appropriate classroom strategies.
  • Documenting all work with students for Medicaid logs.
  • Completing treatment notes and progress reports.
