About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage all aspects of our accounting functions. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards, with responsibilities including accounts payable, general ledger reconciliation, and tax preparation.

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.
• Perform general ledger reconciliation to maintain the integrity of financial data.
• Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial statements.
• Assist in budgeting processes by providing detailed financial reports and forecasts.
• Utilize QuickBooks and other accounting software for efficient record-keeping and reporting.
• Support technical accounting tasks as needed, ensuring adherence to accounting principles.
• Collaborate with management to improve financial processes and reporting systems.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role in corporate accounting.
• Strong understanding of debits, credits, and general accounting principles.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other relevant accounting software is essential.
• Experience with budgeting, account reconciliation, and tax preparation is highly desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks effectively.
