About the position

The FT Janitorial Manager at St. Moritz Building Services is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping staff in a manufacturing setting. This role involves managing employee schedules, training new hires, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and service are maintained. The manager will also handle administrative tasks, including performance evaluations and client reporting, while being prepared to assist in janitorial duties as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and direct the housekeeping staff.
  • Staff employees according to the hours budgeted weekly.
  • Schedule and train new employees.
  • Order uniforms and supplies.
  • Evaluate employees' work performance.
  • Complete client requested reports weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
  • Attend staff meetings.
  • Perform and assist in all basic janitorial positions as needed.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Supervisory or managing experience.
  • Must have own vehicle/transportation.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Basic computer program skills.
