About the position

The Front Office Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the guest services team to ensure smooth operations and high levels of guest satisfaction. This role involves training and directing team members, resolving customer issues, and maintaining operational standards at the front desk.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise guest services team members to ensure efficient operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Respond professionally and courteously to guests, providing accurate information and services.
  • Supervise daily shift processes and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Train and direct the work of front desk team members, resolving issues and coaching as necessary.
  • Handle customer complaints and issues efficiently to maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Build strong relationships with other departments, especially housekeeping and reservations.
  • Control cash transactions at the front desk and maintain responsibility for personal bank as per hotel policy.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and team members.
  • Ability to resolve customer complaints and issues effectively.
  • Experience in cash handling and financial transactions.
