About the position

The Front Office Supervisor at Home2 Suites by Hilton in Hoover, Alabama, is responsible for overseeing the guest services team and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the front desk operation, ensuring high standards of service, quality, and efficiency are maintained for all guest interactions.
  • Address guest concerns, requests, and inquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience and resolving any issues.
  • Supervise and lead the front desk staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and maintaining a supportive work environment.
  • Oversee hotel security systems, conduct regular checks, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Manage guest complaints, emergencies, or unforeseen issues, finding solutions that minimize disruption to guests.
  • Assist with daily operational tasks, including check-ins/outs, ensuring rooms are prepared for guests, and preparing daily reports.
  • Work closely with the General Manager and other hotel departments to ensure smooth communication and efficient handoffs between shifts.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in hotel operations or a supervisory role, preferably within Hilton or a similar hotel brand.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional guest service and resolving issues professionally.
  • Ability to think quickly and effectively address challenges that arise during the night shift.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software, Microsoft Office, and other relevant platforms.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work all shifts, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks as needed.
