About the position

The Front Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the front desk operations of the hotel, ensuring guest satisfaction and adherence to brand standards. This role involves managing staff, training new hires, and maintaining a positive work environment while delivering superior guest service. The manager will also handle human resources functions and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain guest service as the driving philosophy of the hotel.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to guest service by responding promptly to guests' needs.
  • Train hotel staff on service standards and ensure compliance with the We CARE-Guaranteed and 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.
  • Manage front desk operations and act as manager on duty for the hotel.
  • Ensure front desk staff is trained in check-in/check-out procedures and hotel amenities.
  • Produce accurate financial reports on time and ensure adherence to financial control procedures.
  • Manage human resources functions including recruiting, selection, orientation, and training.
  • Resolve employee grievances in a fair and timely manner and maintain personnel files accurately.

Requirements

  • 2 years of hotel experience (preferred).
  • Experience with Hilton or OnQ systems is a must.
  • Must be a citizen of the United States or possess a valid work permit.
