About the position
Smallwoods is seeking an experienced Front-End Developer to maintain and support our technology needs, focusing on building and maintaining React/Frontend applications. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership in a fast-paced environment and has a keen eye for detail, aiming to enhance productivity and ease for users.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain React apps in Shopify.
- Maintain, edit, and build new Shopify themes.
- Collaborate with the design team to create well-designed UI/UX.
- Work with the back end to create scalable apps and services.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in an information technology field or related engineering/technology field.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with REST APIs.
- Experience with React and large scale React apps.
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Deployment.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Valid driver's license.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong team-oriented player.
- Customer service focused.
- Strong attention to detail.
