The Front Desk Manager at Island Paradise Dental is responsible for overseeing the front desk operations of the dental office, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient management of patient interactions. This role requires dental experience and proficiency in administrative tasks related to patient care and office management.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.
  • Manage the front desk operations, including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and handling patient inquiries in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Utilize dental administrative support skills to maintain patient records, verify insurance information, and ensure accurate billing and payment processing.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using Eaglesoft to input and access patient information securely and confidentially.
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times, handling dental records and sensitive information with the utmost care and discretion.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to coordinate patient care and ensure smooth transitions between appointments, treatments, and follow-up procedures.
  • Stay updated on medical terminology and industry trends to effectively communicate with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies.
  • Handle multi-line phone systems efficiently, directing calls to the appropriate personnel and providing accurate information to callers in a timely manner.
  • Assist in emergency situations by following established protocols and procedures, prioritizing patient safety and well-being above all else.

Requirements

  • Must have dental experience.
  • Proficiency in using Eaglesoft for patient information management.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to manage front desk operations.
