About the position

The Front Desk Administrative Coordinator role is a contract-to-hire position that provides essential front-desk support to ensure a welcoming environment and smooth daily operations at East Metro Place. This position involves interacting with clients, volunteers, and vendors, while also managing administrative tasks to support the staff effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist clients, volunteers, donors, vendors, and other visitors to East Metro Place, providing friendly, professional guidance and directing them to the correct staff member or location.
  • Ensure consistent front desk coverage by coordinating with team members to maintain presence during breaks and other necessary absences.
  • Answer and route phone calls efficiently, assisting callers with general inquiries and directing them to the appropriate contacts.
  • Organize and maintain office files, records, and other documentation to ensure accurate and accessible information.
  • Support staff with general administrative tasks to promote smooth office operations and an efficient work environment.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of administrative experience
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Highly organized and detail-driven
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
