About The Position

The Framing Manager will lead and coach a team of framers, focusing on building customer relationships and creating custom framing solutions for their art. This role is responsible for driving custom framing sales and assisting customers in creating memorable framing solutions. The manager will also assist the Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Company programs, ensuring compliance with laws and requirements, and holding the team accountable for store conditions and results. Additionally, the role involves developing and coaching selling behaviors, leading the delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions on time, and managing sales and production workload. The manager will also be responsible for inventory management, shrink and safety programs, serving as Manager on Duty (MOD), and assisting with team member interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and training. They will partner with other MODs daily on framing expectations and interact positively and respectfully with others, promoting the organization’s vision and values. Participation in truck un-loads and stocking processes, adherence to SOPs, and assisting customers with product location and solutions are also key responsibilities. Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure execution of Company policies and standards; hold team accountable for store conditions and results.
  • Develop and coach the team selling behaviors.
  • Achieve KPI’s and manage the framing team to achieve their role KPI’s.
  • Review sales and production workload and build plans and sales floor time for networking.
  • Manage and execute inventory management processes.
  • Manage and execute shrink and safety programs.
  • Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
  • Assist with interviewing, on-boarding, coaching, observing and training of new Team members.
  • Support Talent Development activities and participate in Performance Mgmt. activities.
  • Utilize leadership competencies for continued self-development.
  • Partner with MOD’s daily on the expectations of framing and other framers.
  • Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner; remain positive and respectful, even in difficult situations.
  • Promote commitment to the organization’s vision and values; project a positive image and serve as a role model for others.
  • Participate in the truck un-load and stocking processes to ensure truck standards are followed and completed within budget.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs and ensure a safe environment.
  • Acknowledge customers, help locate product and provide solutions.
  • Assist with Omni channel processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.
