About The Position

Foster Family Services Consultant at Boys Town in Tallahassee, FL, plays a critical role in supporting children and families by placing children in safe, supportive foster homes. This position involves developing service plans, guiding foster families, and ensuring the well-being of children. Requirements

• Master's degree in Human Services or related field
• 2 years experience working with children and families
• Ability to provide own transportation to complete travel requirements of job required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation and pass an annual Motor Vehicle Registration (MVR) check required.
• Meet auto insurance requirements established by Boys Town policy and/or State and Local laws required.
• Available rotationally to provide crisis response and must be available to work non-traditional business hours including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate foster care placements and develop individualized service plans
• Set and evaluate short- and long-term goals for each child
• Monitor and support foster families through regular visits and training
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and community professionals
• Respond to client emergencies and assist in reunification or aftercare services
