About the position
Spherion is seeking Forklift Operators and Machine Operators for a manufacturing facility in Troy, Ohio. The role involves operating machinery, packaging products, and assisting in various production tasks. Candidates must be available for overtime and have stand-up forklift experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of activities as a Packager of manufactured paper
- Assist other operations in packaging the finished product for shipping
- Load and unload material while assisting the operator
- Monitor deviations in materials and running conditions; make corrections with operator's assistance and report deviations to the operator
- Monitor all phases of packaging
- Prepare materials for shipping
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 1-4 years of experience in a similar role
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
- Basic computer proficiencies
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required

- Ability to work overtime if needed
- Ability to be flexible in helping where it is needed on the production floor
