The Forklift Operator/Yard Team member at County Materials is responsible for operating equipment to manage supplies and materials in a concrete manufacturing environment. This role involves maintaining inventory, ensuring cleanliness of the work area, and exercising good judgment in operations. The position is ideal for individuals who are self-motivated and can work well in a team setting, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Operate equipment to stack, load and retrieve supplies and materials
- Document and maintain inventory
- Clean and maintain area and equipment
- Exercise good judgment regarding work site unloading and operation
- Perform other tasks as needed
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- 0-2 years of related experience
- Knowledge of commonly used industry concepts, practices, and procedures preferred
- Ability to perform well as a team member
- Self-motivator and must be flexible to accommodate team needs
