About the position

The Forklift Operator position at Randstad involves operating sit-down forklifts to manage the unloading, locating, picking, packing, and shipping of materials within a distribution center. The role requires ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment and adherence to safety protocols while utilizing various equipment and technology.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound traffic and locate material within the finished goods warehouse.
• Utilize hand truck, forklift, and/or Drexel as required for material handling.
• Ensure count accuracy when placing material in rack or bin locations.
• Transfer materials within the Distribution Center between rack/bin locations or to kitting operations.
• Use RF equipment to pull material from identified bin locations and transport to packing stations or consolidation areas.
• Package customer orders and ensure 100% accuracy of customer orders by item and quantity.
• Process customer packages through appropriate shipping manifest systems (e.g., Clippership, UPS, Fed Ex).
• Load carrier trucks as required.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (heavy lifting).
• Successful performance on a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Test.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience operating RF scanners.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) such as Oracle.
