About the position
The Forklift Operator position at Teleflex involves supporting shift activities related to inventory management, including replenishments and material transactions. The role is crucial for maintaining operational goals and ensuring compliance with FDA regulations and company policies. The operator will utilize various equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to efficiently manage inventory and fulfill customer orders.
Responsibilities
- Utilize SAP Inventory Detail, allocation, availability, and location
- Follow SOPs
- Use pallet jacks and electrical forklift equipment
- Ensure actions reflect consideration of FDA regulations, GMPs, and company policies and procedures
- Report issues, completions, and status of activities to supervisor or team leaders
- Use forklift to move and wrap pallets
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately using RF technology, as required
- Confirm lines on customer transfer orders using SAP
- Assist in training other associates as required
- Notify shipping leads or inventory control of inventory discrepancies for materials required on customer orders
- Securely and neatly pack customer orders into boxes or onto skids depending on the shipping method
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Basic math skills
- Proficient in using RF technology to process customer orders
- Forklift experience required - reach and order picker
