Responsibilities
- Supply materials to production lines
- Remove finished goods from production lines to finished goods area
- Return unused stock to designated warehouse area ensuring proper count and store in racking after finishing production run
- Assist palletizer by wrapping and/or moving finished goods skids to Shipping staging area
- Perform cycle counts for materials in the area
- Maintain transactions in associated warehouse and inventory software systems
- Conduct daily equipment inspections, to ensure all equipment are in good working order
- Successfully complete work instructions for associated work centers and applicable standard operating procedures
- Report food safety problems and/or quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate actions
Requirements
- Current valid Forklift license with clean driving record
- Strong communication, written and verbal skills
- Basic mathematical skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and a physically demanding job in a fast paced environment while maintaining accurate information & documentation
- Understands right first time quality
- Shows initiative, takes directions and executes plans efficiently
- Some computer experience preferred
- Demonstrate safe work habits and excellent work ethics
- Accuracy and detail oriented
- Capable of heavy lifting
