About The Position

Stage ingredients for production by performing the following duties. This role requires reading the next day's production schedule to determine ingredients to be gathered, weighing or counting ingredients, and placing them on pallets according to production paperwork. The driver will operate a forklift to move materials within the warehouse, including loading and unloading pallets and stacking materials. Responsibilities also include completing forklift checklists, replacing gas tanks, assisting with warehouse cleaning, and performing additional tasks as assigned by management. The role may also involve assisting on the wet or dry side of staging and printing labels as needed.

Requirements

Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
Basic knowledge of computers and the ability to input data into a computer.
Lift 50 pounds 100-200 times during the shift
Stand and/or walk for the duration of the shift
Use hands to finger, grip, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms
Talk and hear
Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Responsibilities

Reads next day production schedule to determine ingredients to be gathered.
Weighs or counts ingredients and places the ingredients on pallets according to production paperwork.
Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area.
Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
Loads or unloads materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting device.
Completes forklift checklist in computer.
Replaces liquefied gas tank.
Assists with warehouse cleaning.
Perform any additional tasks assigned by management.
Assist on wet or dry side of staging as needed.
Print labels for staging as needed.
