We're hiring a Food Truck Supervisor to Live. Work. Explore. this season!

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations and food production for the food truck.
  • Direct daily activities of food truck employees, including cooks, food preparers, cashiers, and other employees.
  • Plan for and stock food for daily operations.
  • Maintain required records including food production, daily inventory, and meal counts.
  • Ensure mobile food service staff members follow proper sanitation procedures.
  • Ensure safety standards are maintained while food is being cooked and stored.
  • As needed, process payment transactions and prepare, serve and/or expedite food.
  • Plan daily features in conjunction with the Kitchen Manager.
  • Maintain equipment including refrigerator, stove, prep table and cookware.
  • Maintain assigned vehicles with regard to daily safety checklist, fuel, propane and water.
  • Direct and assist with the cleaning of the truck and commercial kitchen.
  • Ensure customer dining experience meets or exceeds expectations.
  • Provide training, coaching and support to food truck employees.
  • Provide feedback regarding employee performance to manager.
  • Drive food truck to and from sales locations and to restock when needed.

Requirements

  • Two years of food production experience.
  • One year of supervisory experience.
  • Ability to provide superior guest service.
  • Must obtain ServSafe Certification with 90 days of hire.
  • Possess or obtain a valid Arizona driver's license and comply with Grand Canyon National Park Lodges Driver Safety Program.
