About the position
The Food Service Clerk at Bristol Farms is responsible for providing exceptional customer service at the Food Service counter, serving prepared goods, and ensuring a positive experience for guests. This role requires a passion for food and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve customers at the Food Service counter by listening to requests and obtaining desired products.
- Answer the telephone and take orders when necessary.
- Itemize prices for counter goods.
- Properly use a slicer to cut weighable products as required.
- Wrap and/or box and label products.
- Make sandwiches and prepare lunch and dinner specials.
- Set up advertising displays or arrange merchandise on the counter and tables to promote sales.
- Stock and replenish products, napkins, condiments, and other items at the Food Service counter.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Restaurant experience preferred.
- Customer service skills.
