About The Position
As a Food Server for Bavette’s Steakhouse & Bar at Park MGM, you will deliver a refined yet inviting dining experience in a classic steakhouse setting known for its timeless ambiance and elevated cuisine. You will take and serve guest orders with precision and attentiveness, ensuring each table receives personalized service that enhances their overall experience from greeting to final check presentation. By maintaining table presentation, anticipating guest needs, and fostering genuine connections, you will contribute to a warm, high‑touch service style that defines Bavette’s. Through performing side work, maintaining cleanliness of your assigned stations, and collaborating closely with your team, you will help ensure smooth operations and create memorable dining moments that reflect the restaurant’s distinctive charm and quality.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
Nice To Haves
- Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
- 3+ Years of experience as a Fine Dining server preferred
- Wine experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Greet guests in a positive, friendly manner and make them feel welcome
- Knowledgeable of selling techniques and service delivery of menu items of every course and both non and alcoholic beverages
- Maintain table cleanliness utilizing a silent service approach
- Itemize bills correctly and efficiently secure payment
- Maintain cleanliness and stock of assigned areas, side stations, tables and Point of Sale (POS) stations
- Anticipate the guests’ needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency
- Communicate with management, chefs and culinary staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and or other employees
