About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner will play a crucial role in ensuring that food and beverages are delivered promptly and accurately to our guests, enhancing their dining experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for food service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all orders are accurate and meet the restaurant's quality standards before serving.
• Assist servers by providing support during busy service periods, including refilling drinks and clearing tables.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
• Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive dining experience for guests.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Experience in culinary roles or kitchen environments will be beneficial.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure are essential.
• A passion for hospitality and providing exceptional customer service is highly valued.
