About the position

The Food Bank Coordinator at Colorado Health Network (CHN) is responsible for managing the operations of the Food Bank, ensuring the nutritional needs of individuals living with HIV/AIDS are met. This role involves ordering and monitoring food supplies, distributing food to clients, and supervising volunteers. The coordinator plays a vital role in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment while ensuring compliance with food safety standards and collaborating with various organizations to support the Food Bank's mission.

Responsibilities

• Order and monitor nutritional groceries for the Food Bank.
• Distribute food to eligible clients, patients, and participants.
• Schedule pick-up and delivery of Food Bank items.
• Maintain collaborations with organizations supporting the Food Bank's mission.
• Train, schedule, and supervise Food Bank volunteers.
• Ensure sanitary conditions and food safety compliance in the Food Bank.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for internal and external use.
• Maintain accurate statistics on purchases and client data.
• Coordinate volunteer/intern schedules and training.
• Attend department meetings and trainings.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, SharePoint).
• Management skills and ability to work in a diverse setting.
• Food Pantry or Food Bank experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and insurable on CHN's vehicle insurance policy.

Nice-to-haves
