About the position

The Food and Beverage Coordinator is responsible for overseeing back-of-house administrative operations, including inventory management, financial record-keeping, and product ordering. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of food and beverage services at The Summit at Snoqualmie, a popular recreational destination near Seattle. The position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock of food and beverage items.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Implement inventory control procedures to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, including sales, expenses, and inventory costs.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports to support budgeting and forecasting.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between Base Area Managers and suppliers for food and beverage orders.
  • Negotiate with vendors to secure the best prices and terms.
  • Track and manage deliveries to ensure timely and accurate receipt of products.
  • Support the training and development of food and beverage team members.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Assist the Director of Food and Beverage in handling customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Collaborate in planning and executing promotional events and marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations and industry trends.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License.
  • Must pass a background check.
