About the position
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Flooring Sales Person to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and support to help customers find the perfect products. You will engage with customers, assist with their needs, and contribute to a positive shopping experience while promoting our diverse range of flooring products and solutions. This is an in-person role within the showroom and on jobsites.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating product within the store.
- Provide knowledgeable advice on products, including tile, wood, vinyl and carpet.
- Operate QFloors effectively.
- Maintain organized product displays and showroom space.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored recommendations.
- Measure jobsites, create comprehensive estimates.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive store environment.
- Stay informed about current promotions, sales strategies, and market trends to better assist customers.
Requirements
- Previous experience in flooring sales or customer service is required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple projects, accounts, and prospects.
- Familiarity with QFloors or RFMS is beneficial.
- A passion for sales and a desire to learn about market trends in retail or new construction environment.
- An existing referral base and industry relationships is helpful.
