About the position

The position involves maintaining the cleanliness and quality standards of hotel public areas while ensuring guest satisfaction. The role requires flexibility in scheduling, including the ability to work on weekends and holidays, and involves various shifts. Responsibilities include handling guest complaints, cleaning assigned areas, and adhering to safety and security procedures.

Responsibilities

• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
• Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Maintain standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments.
• Observe all house and safety rules, housekeeping procedures, and security procedures.
• Clean and service assigned public spaces according to franchise and hotel standards.
• Return and restock cart at end of shift.
• Complete additional deep cleaning / seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled.
• Report any maintenance deficiencies and handle guest requests or complaints.

Requirements

• Minimum one year cleaning experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
