About The Position

Connex Credit Union is seeking motivated individuals to join their team as Float Seasonal Tellers. This role serves as a front-line member service representative, assisting members with daily transactions and identifying opportunities to enhance their financial well-being through Connex's products and services. The position requires meeting referral goals for Connex products and credit report reviews, providing courteous, personable, and accurate service both in person and via Personal Teller Machines. Additionally, the role involves maintaining a professional and efficient branch, adhering to security protocols, balancing cash drawers, and fostering a positive work environment. Employees may be transferred to other locations temporarily or permanently as needed, with advance notification except in emergency situations.

Requirements

High school diploma required
No experience required
Ability to maintain confidentiality of member information
Ability to work collaboratively within the branch environment
Strong communication and sales skills
High degree of responsibility and integrity
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Continued education through selected training courses
Flexible about work hours and shifts to accommodate business and member needs.

Responsibilities

Serve as a front line member service representative in branches.
Facilitate members with their daily transactions.
Identify opportunities to improve a member’s financial life utilizing Connex’s products and services.
Consistently meet referral goals consisting of both Connex products and member credit report reviews.
Provide courteous, personable, and accurate transactions for members, whether face to face or via Personal Teller Machines.
Maintain a professional and efficient branch.
Follow all security protocols.
Balance personal cashboxes.
Foster a positive work environment with fellow staff.
Maintain a balanced personal cash drawer and balanced vault in absence of Service Coordinator.
Maintain an excellent knowledge of products and services in order to make proper recommendations and referrals to members.
Deliver superior quality service while adhering to corporate, regulatory and audit guidelines.
Utilize problem solving skills and think independently to resolve member issues.
Meet goals consistently and contribute to the fulfillment of all Connex Credit Union goals.
Project a professional and friendly image at all times including a positive attitude, composure and a clear, energetic and welcoming speaking voice.
